“It is with great pleasure that myself and the Hakuba Hotel group, the largest International Hospitality operator in Hakuba, supports the opening and ongoing growth and development of Hakuba International School.
I hail from Australia. I first came to Japan at 18 more than 40 years ago initially to Osaka and a university course in Kyoto to learn Japanese. Finding Japan has proven a pivotal point in my life. For anybody lucky enough to find Japan earlier on in their educational journey I applaud the decision.
Nagano which I managed to stumble across early on in my life and specifically Hakuba is a POWER spot. Nagano now has the longest lifespan for its citizens in Japan overtaking Okinawa; its a agricultural hub as well as cultural. It boasts a varied variety of nature montains, lakes, valleys but also not far from the coast and is the heart of Honshu the main part of the Japanese archipelago.
Japan NEEDS more internationally minded flexible rational people contributing to all sectors of its society and in turn the world needs to adopt more of Japans peaceful diligent leading edge ways. I am so glad I found Japan early on in my life and I am sure the students who join Hakuba International School will thrive and grow in a unique natural forward looking environment. Good Luck to all members of this growing School community.”
