Event Options
We offer several kinds of events to learn about our school.
Our Information Sessions are a brief introductions to our school’s philosophy, teaching methods, and admissions process, with time for questions from parents and students. Offered in English with live Japanese translation.
Our Pop-Up Schools are a hands-on, experiential taste of project-based learning with our faculty in Hakuba. They are for parents as well, so you can experience this learning format first-hand. They are intended specifically for students applying to HIS in the near future, and serve as an admissions assessment as well.
Video Meeting: If you have attended an Information Session and would like to know more about admission to HIS, but cannot travel to Hakuba for an in-person event, we invite you to set up a casual video meeting with our Director of Admissions, David Kenney. Please contact David Kenney to arrange a conversation.

Pop-Up Schools:
November 16, 2024 Pop-Up School: 10:00am - 3:00pm Japan Time, in-person event at our campus in Hakuba Valley. Email David Kenney to register.
One parent is requested to be present at the Pop-Up from 1:30 - 3:00pm, for a set of parent-related activities to get to know our school and learning philosophy.
To attend Pop-Up Schools hosted in Hakuba, families must pay the admissions application fee of JPY 25,000. This covers the cost of the Pop-Up School and all other parts of the admissions process. We will send you an invoice for this fee after you complete the Pop-Up Registration.
